FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Answers to common questions about balances, game winnings and withdrawals.
Why did my balance change by itself?
Cryptocurrency prices move continuously. If your balance is displayed in USD, its estimated dollar value can rise or fall even when the amount of cryptocurrency in your account has not changed. Total Balance is also calculated from the current estimated USD value of all your cryptocurrency balances.
I won a game, but why are the winnings not visible in my balance?
If the header is showing one selected cryptocurrency, winnings paid in another cryptocurrency are not included in that single-currency view. Select Total Balance to see the combined estimated USD value of all your balances.
If you want to play using only one cryptocurrency, remember to restrict the allowed opponent currencies before starting or joining a game. Otherwise, winnings can be paid in a cryptocurrency used by your opponent.
Why is a small amount deducted when I make a withdrawal?
Blockchain transactions require a network fee. The fee pays the blockchain network for processing and confirming the transaction. Some token withdrawals may also require a recipient token-account creation cost.
Battle 21 does not add a platform markup to this fee. The withdrawal quote reserves an estimated maximum network cost, and only the confirmed cost is charged.
Why did my withdrawal amount change slightly after I entered it?
Blockchain network fees can change from one moment to the next. The amount you enter is the total deducted from your balance, so if the estimated network fee changes before the withdrawal is submitted, the amount sent to your wallet changes by the same small difference.
Battle 21 refreshes the fee and withdrawal amount automatically and does not add a platform markup. Only the final confirmed network cost is charged, and any unused part of the reserved fee is returned to your available balance.
Why has my withdrawal taken longer than five minutes?
Withdrawal times depend on the blockchain. The transaction must be broadcast, included in a block and receive the required confirmations or finality before it can be marked as complete. Network congestion and slower block production can make this take longer than five minutes.
A delay does not necessarily mean that the withdrawal has failed. Check the withdrawal status and transaction reference first. If it has been processing for more than two hours, contact Battle 21 Support.
Why was money left in my account after I used the MAX withdrawal button?
MAX uses your full available balance as the total withdrawal amount. Before the transaction is sent, part of that total is reserved for the highest estimated network or gas fee so that the transaction cannot fail because the fee is underfunded.
The actual blockchain fee can be lower than the reserved amount. After the transaction has been confirmed, the unused part of the fee reserve is automatically returned to your available balance. That refund is why a small amount may remain after a MAX withdrawal.
How can I verify that the cards were fair?
Open Provably Fair during a game to view the server-seed commitment recorded before the cards are known. After the applicable match or cash-game session has ended, the revealed seed and the other verification values are available through Match History.
The Verify Fairness page lets you compare the revealed seed with its earlier commitment and reconstruct the dealt cards. This allows you to verify independently that the deck was not changed after the commitment was created.
What happens if I do not claim cashback or affiliate rewards immediately?
Unclaimed cashback and affiliate rewards remain available on your account. They do not disappear at the end of the day. New completed rewards accumulate with the earlier unclaimed amount and can be collected later with the relevant claim button.
Why can’t I join a game with my selected cryptocurrency?
The table may not allow that cryptocurrency, or your available balance in that cryptocurrency may be below the required buy-in. Funds already locked in another game, reserved for a withdrawal or otherwise pending are not part of your available balance.
Check the table’s allowed currencies and your selected balance. Choosing Total Balance can combine eligible balances where the game supports it, but it cannot override a table’s currency restrictions.
What happens if a player disconnects during a game?
A reconnect countdown gives the disconnected player time to return. In a multiplayer cash game, the other players can continue normally until the disconnected player is required to act. The disconnect timer is then shown for that turn.
If the player does not return before the applicable timer expires, the game follows the displayed disconnect rule, which can fold the player’s current hand or forfeit the match. Reconnecting before the deadline resumes the game from the authoritative server state.
