PLAYER SAFETY

Responsible Gaming

Real-money play should remain controlled entertainment. Learn to recognise gambling harm, use practical safeguards and find independent support.

Recognising a gambling problem

Gambling harm can develop gradually. It is not defined only by the amount of money lost: time, secrecy, stress and the effect on everyday life also matter. These questions are not a diagnosis, but honest answers can help you notice when play is becoming harmful.

– Do you spend more time or money gambling than you planned?

– Do you try to win losses back by playing again, playing longer or increasing stakes?

– Have you used money needed for rent, food, bills or other essentials, or borrowed money to gamble?

– Do you hide, minimise or lie about your gambling or its cost?

– Has gambling affected your sleep, work, studies, relationships, finances or mental health?

– Do you feel anxious, restless, angry or unable to stop when you try to cut down?

– Do you gamble to escape difficult feelings or problems?

– Have people close to you expressed concern about your gambling?

If you answered YES to one or more of these questions, you may have a gambling problem.

Steps to limit or stop gambling

Use several safeguards together. A limit on one account does not protect you if you can immediately continue elsewhere.

How we can help

– Activate self-exclusion in your Battle21 profile to prevent joining games for the selected period. Deposits and withdrawals remain available during self-exclusion.

– Delete your Battle21 account if you want to stop permanently.

– Contact Battle21 Support if you need a longer exclusion or help with the available safeguards.

Recommended other actions

– Apply deposit limits, time-outs or self-exclusion to every other gambling site and app you use—not only Battle21.

– Ask your bank whether it offers gambling-payment blocks, card controls or spending limits.

– Install gambling-blocking software on every phone, computer and tablet you can use to gamble.

– Remove gambling apps, unfollow gambling content and turn off promotional messages and notifications.

– Make essential payments first, keep gambling money separate and consider asking a trusted person to help you protect access to funds.

– Tell someone you trust and seek professional support early. You do not need to wait for the situation to become severe.

Independent support and blocking services

Gambling Therapy is a free global online service offering practical advice and emotional support to people affected by problem gambling.

Gamblers Anonymous lists in-person, virtual and telephone peer-support meetings, including international options.

BetBlocker provides free tools that can restrict access to gambling websites and apps across supported devices. A blocking tool should support—not replace—account exclusions and professional help.

External services are independent of Battle21. Availability, languages and eligibility can vary by country. If gambling is causing immediate danger to you or someone else, contact your local emergency services now.

Your wellbeing matters to us.

If gambling no longer feels under control, stop playing and seek independent help.
